Blanca Cegarra Dueñas has a degree in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Social Policy and Community Mediation and a Master’s degree in Public Management. She is currently doing her PhD at the University of Barcelona, in the Education and Society programme of the Faculty of Pedagogy. In 2018 she joined the Institut Guttmann and is currently a researcher in the Research and Social Innovation programme at the Institut Guttmann and coordinates projects to evaluate the experience of patients and their families in order to optimise care processes in the neurorehabilitation hospital. Additionally, she teaches in the field of disability and social policies at the University of Barcelona (UB) and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).
